Trying to Get Pregnant

Eating Carrots to increase CM?

So  I was googling "increase CM"  and one of the sites that came up was the ehow.com article about it. It included the following info.

Try Home Remedies. There are many home remedies that are thought to increase cervical mucus. While none have been scientifically proven, you may want to give one a try. These home remedies include drinking grapefruit juice, taking evening primrose oil (before ovulation only), taking flaxseed oil (after ovulation), eating carrots and avoiding dairy which make mucus thick.

I've seen most of the rest mentioned here on GP, but hadn't heard the carrot thing. Anybody heard this, seen it elsewhere, or tried it?

    New one by me.

And why would you be concerned with your CM quality after ovulation? That makes no sense.

I'm not concerned about it at the moment. I was googling it because I have only noticed EWCM once in the year or so I've been paying attention. I figured it wouldn't hurt to know more once we start actively TTC.

Hehe, I think she meant "you" in the general sense, not specifically you.  Because it mentions taking flaxseed oil after O.
