Pain from ???

Hiya all, if anyone has any insight I'd appreciate it...

I had a lap on 7/15 for my endometriosis (severe), followed by a 9-10 day AF at the beginning of the month. I followed my O with OPK, and should now be about 10dpo. I have had very faint streaking off and on (2,3,4 dpo, then 7,8,9 and today).

Had maybe minimal cramps along the way, was feeling pretty good overall- and BD with DH last night. All was fine until about 5am this am woke up with severe pain on left side! Not cramps so much as constant pain- walking doubled up, feeling faint when standing. Took a percocet left over from surgery that helped dull it, used heating pad, and over the past 10 hours it has subsided (also took some advil).  But it still feels like I was punched in the stomach.

Called the RE's office, and the nurses just think it is my body gearing up for AF (due later this week). Okay if that is it fine- but it is way more pain then I'd ever had prior to surgery-  Could this all be the residual endo? I was hoping for a miracle BFP instead of starting IUI- but  really is still too early for that (I did test BPN this am- just to make sure).

Not only do I hate my body right now- it is hating me back!

  • I've always heard the cycle after the surgery is the worst for alot of women.

  • I had my lap on 7/14 followed by 4-5 days of bleeding (RE said it wasn't a real AF, it just came because he was poking around in there).  My first "real" AF after surgery came a month later and I was in severe pain.  I thought removal of endo with the lap would have helped.  Your definitley not alone.  Hopefully PP is right and the first AF is painful and then it subsides after that.
