DD's discovery on Sat

On Sat DD got out of the bath and was running around naked (like always) and then all of a sudden she comes up to me with one finger on each nipple and this look of concern.

She says to me, Mamma, what are these? I was surprised and taken off guard and said 'boobies' (flame all you want), that is what we (me and my sister) called them when we were little.

'Breasts' just seems like the wrong word here. Nipples? What should I have said?

Oh, then she got upset and said she didn't want them, lol. I told her everyone had them. Made her feel a little better...

Yes, she was trying to 'rub them off', lol, it took everything I had not to laugh.

That's what we call them too. She tells me she has little boobies & Mommy you have BIG boobies.
