Induction Scheduled... (ETA a little note about FB)

Wednesday morning, 6am due to my BP acting up today. They were going to schedule me for tomorrow morning, but my dr is only on-call til noon tomorrow so we went with Wednesday unless anything gets worse between now and then.

I have mixed emotions.. but I'm pretty sure I am mostly relieved.

Also, Aug 26th is my late Grandfather's birthday. I like that.

ETA/PS: Please make no mention of this on my FB page, there are a few people that we don't want to deal with until AFTER the baby is actually here. So we don't want everyone knowing when we are/may be in labor. Thanks!

Aw, yay! Congrats girl! I was induced and had no problems. It sounds like you've already made a lot of progress so your induction should go smoothly. You'll be in my thoughts!

Wow!! 2 days!! So exciting. I was induced (on a Wednesday morning, no less) and it went so smoothly and I wish the same for you. You will do great!! Now - take this time to relax as much as possible. (easier said than done, I know).

I was about as progressed as you at my induction at 39 weeks and I could not have asked for a better outcome. I'm actually glad we did it- DS had meconium and had we waited he might have had more in his little tummy than he did. It was seriously a breeze. It'll be great!

Seriously! I went into labor the day after the nurse called to tell my mine had been scheduled. Yay for having a plan though and meeting Camy soon!

Very exciting!

Both of mine were inductions (with Abby my water broke but no contrax so they still had to induce with Pitocin). I was 39 weeks and a few days, 2cm and 50% effaced both times. My inductions could not have gone any better!

Oops. Sorry for the multiple posts. I was just going to say ditto to this quote and GOOD LUCK! You will do great and it is such a relief to get the plan in place especially with the BP issues. I had the same thing happen to me. Wish you the best of luck!
