Would you believe tears started to form in my eyes when I said my goodbyes to the wonderful ladies at my RE's office today? After seeing them three times a week while going through various monitoring and once a week since getting a BFP, after two years of holding me and telling me it was going to be okay, I had to leave today!
8w0d ultrasound looked normal, strong fetal heartbeat, so I "graduated" from my RE's office and will be seeing a regular OB at the 10 week mark!
I actually blurted out "I want to stay for the next 7 months!!!" at my RE.
This is the farthest we've gotten since we started TTC in early 2007!
Re: Bittersweet: graduated from RE today (8w0d)
I cried, too. And I asked to stay. LOL!
Congrats on graduating!
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I totally expect to be super emotional on Friday when I get released too. I completely understand wanting to stay, I love my RE!
Congrats on being released though!
That's awesome! And I totally cried, too.
G/L at your first OB/GYN appt. It's pretty surreal to be treated like a normal pregnant woman, but pretty cool, too!
