Ever go to LLL meeting? (or similar)

Just wondering if you have been a part of a La Leche league group or other breastfeeding support group. I only have one friend (IRL not counting these boards) that is breastfeeding right now, and she is in Tuscaloosa. Thought it would be nice to meet other moms in a similar situation. Do you think it would be worth my time to go to one?

    I wanted to go here, but didn't get around to it while I was on leave...the meeting is at noon here at the hospital on Thursdays, but I only get 30 min instead of an hour.  I might try it anyway, I would love to meet someone else around here in my "situation".  I say try it out :)

    I may try it.  The closest one that I know of is about 45 minutes away and earlier in the morning, so it would be a bit of an effort.  I'll let you know how it goes if I decide to go!

    I never knew of one in my area. But, your post inspired me and I just checked... I may check it out. It would be nice to know other local moms IRL.
