I'm on jar #2 in as many weeks...they are sooo good! It's so cliche, the pregnant woman and her pickles, but I guess all cliches have a basis in truth somewhere!
My DH was so sweet, he bought me a whole new jar last night without me even asking.
the night before i got my BFP i was in the kitchen trying to make fried pickles because i had an intense craving. the next day it made sense! ive got the other cliche, i cant get enough ice cream! i have to be careful with that so i dont balloon!
first tri i couldnt get anywhere NEAR a pickle (and i usually LOVEEEE them) so im very happy that i can eat them again now in 2nd tri! Not sure its a craving for me but i do love pickles!!!

Yes, last night I had a huge craving for sweet pickles (bread and butter) but, we didn't have any in the house! Guess what's on my grocery list for tonight?

My DH must be having sympathy cravings, because he's gone through several jars since I've been pregnant! There was one night early on that I ate an entire jar in one sitting, but haven't had much interest since then.
My pickle craving comes and goes...Last night I plopped down on the couch with a jar in one hand and a fork in the other and DH just looked and me and laughed, lol!

Ice cream is the only thing that gets rid of my massive heartburn!! I also craved pickles at around 16 weeks. I would eat a jar a week. It has subsided though! Thank goodness b/c I don't want to be all swollen!
Not pickles, exactly, but anything in the same flavor family. Anything kind of sweet/tart/sour is excellent. I love vinegar and lemon. Pickles are great, but I had a batch that was soggy recently and I think that's why I dont' love them as much.
Pickles are the best!! Just got back from lunch at Big Boy and asked for a side bowl of pickles. The server looked at my funny and I pointed to my belly...nuff said! They were fabulous!!!!
I was a few weeks ago and even sent my DH out at 11:30 p.m. on a Sunday night to get them. After finishing that jar (in about 10 days) I am over it. Which is a good thing...I am sure the sodium was not the best choice for me.
