constipated 18month old... help

Foods and juices aren't working.  He practically squeezed out a diamond this morning after being up half the night and really, really, REALLY violently angrily unhappy.

What's next?  We've been stuffing him full of fruits & veggies & juices (including prune).  What's good otc that won't, well, completely reverse the issue ?

    I would call the pedi and ask her what to give him. If he's that miserable I'd just make an appt and take him in.

    I would call the pedi to see what they suggest.  My dd has severe problems and is on Miralax daily, but even with that she has problems sometimes.  We have the okay from her Gastro. to give a small ex-lax dose.  I am not suggesting you do this without consulting pedi first.

    Another thing you can try is a pedi. glycerin suppository.

    We had a 3 page expl. of benefits for the past 2 months because we were there 1-2x a week, I was just hoping we didn't have to go back yet again lol
