Well I am not sure what our next step will be. But we have began to seriously consider adoption for our second child. We have pretty major fertility issues, and amazingly got pregnant with IVF/ICSI, with DD. But the cycle was ugly, and it is not expected to be an easy path the next time... (damn crusty eggs!)
So any how... instead of just lurking, I thought I would say Hi, and take any advice you have.
Re: Another Hello
Welcome and thanks for de-lurking!
You'll find everyone is super helpful here and you'll get lots of good info. If you're looking for some good books to get you started, check out the link in my siggy. These are all books that have been recommended at one time or another on this board.
Hello and congrats on your daughter. She is beautiful! This board is very helpful because it has people who are in all phases of adoption (just researching, doing homestudy, waiting, matched, adopted already) so just about any question can be answered.
Adoption is not the east way. I know we did 2 FET and had 2 miscarriages before we adopted Ben and everyone says "oh, you had it so easy." I wish I didn't have to go through a pregnancy, but you will find that it's a very emotional journey. That being said, it's so great to adopt. I tell everyone how wonderful it is all the time. Good luck!
My advice, is to look into all options as we are doing a completly different route than I originally thought because of some of the research we did. Good luck!
