Recommend your diaper rash cream!!

Evan has an awful diaper rash. I noticed today that there was even a tiny bit of blood on it. It makes me upset because I started using Desitin Original on him when I noticed the beginning of a rash and it's just gotten worse! Anyone have a fabulous cream they can recommend??

For really bad Diaper rash I think Dr Sears recommends Triple Paste.?

With that said, DS has only had a small diaper rash one time and we have always used Aquaphor. ?

My Pedi has said that when DS gets a diaper rash put Aquarphor on it every diaper change until it goes away. ?

If you can find Corona Cream use that. It is amazing. Also, let his butt air out as much as possible. My DS used to get these kinds of rashes whenever he was antibiotics (which caused major diarhea). We would slather on the Corona or Desitin and lay him on a couple of burp clothes or cloth diapers in his tummy. It would usually clear up (or at least not be as severe) in a day.

this! my nephew had severe diaper rash- when i say severe, i mean it! SIL went to doc and they prescribed this ointment that was $300 and not covered by her insurance! so while we were at teh drugstore, i told her to get triple paste (the lady i nannied for was a NICU nurse and she used this on her twins)- it cleared it up in 2-3 days! good luck

I must be the only one who uses Bag Balm. It's like vaseoline but medicated so it protects and heals at the same time. I was going to try the Butt Paste if this didn't work.

DD had a rash for 3weeks. she had 3 rxs and they didnt work. I got safeway brand cream- called mom to mom and it was gone the next day.
