I remember reading that somewhere. I just don't tend to give it to DD because it has like zero nutrition and goes right thru, ya know? However, they are serving it this year at daycare. Just wondering what you have heard.
It's on the list of things to hold off on untill 1 (I think) but I don't know if it's because of choking or if it's because of possible allergies. I don't really think of it as a choking hazard. DD loves corn.

The reason to hold off until 12 months is because it's hard to digest.
I am the queen of paranoia for choking and I am not worried about corn what so ever. Now popcorn is a different story, I do see that has a choking hazard.
Emma LOVES corn on the cob! It's one of her favorites. I've never noticed anything different after she's eaten it. But we aren't changing diapers anymore so I might just not notice.

Aiden loves corn and corn on the cob. I think it's mostly a digestive thing before 1 year.
Popcorn is a choking hazard.

Ditto. DD loves corn. We give it to her when we have it for dinner.
My DD had swallowing issues and corn was OK for her.
But, yeah, the digestion part. I know she loves it, but I hate giving it to her because I hate changing those diapers. Blech.
same here, DD loves corn on the cob and eats it really fast too.
