Just curious. I sort of feel like my priorities have really changed. I used to really want to get into management and now I'm pretty happy right where I am.
Though it could be that my previous job was so boring that I felt like I needed to be climbing the ladder for a challenge and wiith my new job, I'm stimulated enough with my work.
Re: Are you as career driven post-baby?
Nope, not at all... I used to work all.the.time, now I put down the work evenings/weekends so I can spend time with DD. And I'm also just not as focused as I used to be -- I spend more time here and on other parenting boards during the day than I really should
I'm lucky that I'm in a job that is a perfect next step in my career, but it also offers great work/life balance and I am somehow kicking butt despite being a slacker! So it works out well. But if doing well in my current job (or taking the next step in my career) ever means sacrificing time with DD... I know exactly where my priorities lie.
