WWYD & WDYT re: engagement announcement (NBR)

So, my sister and her boyfriend went on a cruise.  He was going to ask her to marry him while in Mexico.  I knew this b/c I helped with details and such.  He is also planning a surprise engagement party for her.  Well, he sent out an EVITE today....announcing their engagement!!!!  They aren't even back from the cruise yet (tomorrow).  And he has all her closest friends on the list!!  She doesn't even get to tell them the exciting news b/c he sent out an evite!  I'm so mad!!!  It's sweet he wants to do an surprise engagement party but I can't believe he sent this before she gets to tell everyone.  =(  And I'm sure she would've wanted to help plan the party, since she's a huge party planner and loves doing it.  I hope in all her excitement of the proposal, she's ok with all of this.  Now her best friends get to "act" like they don't know anything when she calls to tell them.  Is there anything I can do?  I feel like calling her friends and telling them to have someone log into their email to delete the evite before they have a chance of seeing it! Ugh!

    Are they engaged NOW?  Can you get in touch with the boyfriend and tell him to have her call all her friends NOW.. maybe before the friends see the evite?  Otherwise, I'd just say 'what's done is done' and hopefully she's too excited to care!
