How much detergent do you use to wash CDs?

We have a high-efficiency front loader, which already takes very little detergent to run. I've read that you're supposed to use 1/4 of what you normally would - but this would be such a small amount (probably less than a tbsp). Is this normal? How much liquid detergent do/did you use when washing newborn CDs?

    yes, that amount is correct ;)  I thought it was a veeeerrry small amount too when i started but it works out fine :)  you don't want to use too much or you will get a detergent build up

    Yep, that's right.  We use planet and I use about half of the bottom fill line.  It's not much, but it works.
