3 day AF ? what does that mean

I know cycles can become crazy after losses. After my natural M/C my cycle seemed to stay the same. The first AF after the ectopic seemed normal too (6-7 days heavy is my norm) but this cycle it was two days light bleeding & now nothing ???

Now I am getting worried.
Anyone else have really short AF

    I wouldn't worry too much.  3 days is pretty normal, but I understand your concern since it's not normal for you.  I've only had 2 AF's since m/c.  The first was normal for me (3 days heavy, 1-2 spotting), but my second was really wacky: 6 days heavy, 3 more spotting.  It sucks to be confused by our bodies, doesn't it?

    I've found that when I O late, I have a lighter AF. Every other period has always been heavier and lasted longer. Take a hpt if you have doubts, I'd be mostly concerned about another e/p(I had one in '07). You've had an e/p before so certainly you know how tricky those can be and you can have light period like bleeding with those and even negative hpt's. Good luck and hope it's nothing serious.

    I wouldn't worry, but of course would ask your MD if you have questions. for me, that's become normal. prior to my m/cs, my cycle was usually 4-6 days total. Now it is 3-4 days from start to finish.
    m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks). and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers). IUI#1 and #2: BFNs Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie. Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011

    Was it pretty much light all 3 days?  Maybe your body is playing tricks and the full on AF is yet to come.  Did you have cramps?  I had a wacky AF this cycle too but I think once she showed up to stay it will be normal......she is currently at our house :(

    When I say I am worried, I just mean I am worried that being regular/predictable is s thing of the past for me :O(

    I have a slight feeling of doom, like I am on the start of a LONG TTC journey :O(
     
    OK ladies, I am going swimming with DS so I do not dwell on this today 
    Only three days left with my baby before he starts PK3

    Mine are always 3 days long.  They were longer in my teens, but settled around 3 days in my mid-20s.  If I'm lucky, I get a 2 day one sometimes.

    I used to have very short AF before my m/c.  And my doc said it wasnt a problem as long as there was some AF.  And I did get pregnant with it, so thats a good sign for you!
