1 year b-day present?

DH and i are stumped as to what to get DS for his 1st bday. my parents are getting him a wagon (which is what i was going to get him). we were thinking maybe a small climbing toy (the ones with the small slides), but he wont really be able to use that for a few months off, so we are thinking of waiting until christmas to get that.

any ideas??

    Maybe you can get him a small riding toy.  One that he can use in the house.  The great thing is right now you don't have to spend a ton on them because they have no idea.  Just wait tell he starts asking for playstations and stuff that cost $300.  And if you are having a party he will get a ton.
