Baby shower dress...

So my SIL is hosting my baby shower, and she said she is going to wear a nice dress.  I figure the hostess can't "outdress" the mom-to-be, so I went shopping today for a dress. I kept in mind the advice given on these boards about the difficulty of being lady like in a dress while pregnant (issues crossing legs and opening gifts etc...) So I practiced sitting and moving around in the store... my mom thought I was being silly.

Here is what I got (due to my severe case of cleavage, I will be wearing a white camisole underneath it):

With these shoes (but in navy):

I am excited!  Now to continue stalking my registry.....

Edit:  Oh and the clerks in the store thought it was funny that I insisted on wearing a "boy color" to my shower since I was having a boy.  For some reason I couldn't fathom wearing pink or purple to my son's baby shower.  I am quirky that way.

    very cute!!! i wore a maxi dress and flip flops cuz my feet were so swollen i couldnt get anything else on lol

    I wanted to do a maxi dress and flip flops, but maxi dresses don't flatter my body type. I have fat arms (imo) and really big boobs (prior to pregnancy... so they are huge now).  

    I wanted flip flops for this dress, but couldn't find a pair I liked.  I bought the shoes above in a size bigger than I normally wear in order to leave room for swelling :(

    Cute!  I am wearing a similar dress for mine.  I think that wrap dresses are very flattering on pregnant women.

    That is a beautiful dress, and I love that color. Me, I have fat legs (or i think so) ive never liked my legs, so i will be wearing a maxi dress to cover my legs. I havent decided if i am going to wear my nice high heels (i wore these to a friends baby shower at the beginning of this month with no problem) but i could just see myself falling on my face because there were a ton of people there, so i might just do flip flops.
