Have you read the book and then seen the movie? I HATED the book. Well. Okay. Hate is a strong word. I had great disdain for the book until the last 75 pages or so. But the movie actually looks so good. Was it better than the book?
I loved the book, so I really liked it better than the movie. However, a friend of mine went to see the movie and understood it without reading the book. I don't know if that helps you, but it might be better on screen.
I started to read the book and it was too much to try to follow. About a year later I got the book on CD and LOVED it!! It was such a pleasure to listen too and I really enjoyed it. I haven't seen the movie yet because I'm waiting to rent it. Don't want to sob that much in public I know she suffers m/c in the book.

Hey there. I'm SO glad that recipe is still going to good use! I like to pretend that I slave over a hot stove every time I make those Thanks for the well wishes. Are you over here on TTTC now too? What's going on with you guys?
Loved the book, and enjoyed the movie. The book is tough to get into because it's a little confusing trying to figure things out and all the back and forth. I think I was about 100 pages in or so before I really got into it.
I think seeing the movie might help with understanding the book when/if you read it, just so you grasp the concept of the time travel. Obviously there are things in the book that were not really touched on in the movie, but I was impressed on how well they made the movie. There were so many details in the book I was skeptical as to how the movie would turn out.
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I did try to read the book and I really had such a hard time with it. I did finish it, but it was a hard read.
