freaking out (pg mentioned)

Ok, so i don't know how but i got a BFP this morningon a break cycle on a regular and digital test..I called my RE's weekend number and left a message asking if i could get betas tomorrow..no one called me back..

We live about 2 hours from my REs office and happen to be visting family in the area so we are about 30 mins away..Would you just show up tomorrow morning during monitoring hours or would you call again in the morning and wait for a call back? I have had 2 m/cs previously and would like some reassurance the betas may give me..

Please no congrats yet...i am not ready to make an official announcement yet..i had tried to PM a few girls that go to my office but i don't think they are  on now...i need to log off soon and spend time with my family so i wanted to see what you ladies think? TIA

They have monitoring hours from 6-10..People come in for betas, bloodwork, and ultrasounds..They don't have appointments..You just show up if it is your day...they usually tell me what day to come in though..I don't want to seem pushy but i think i will seriously have a meltdown if i don't get bld work tomorrow..lol..good idea to whomever suggested getting a labcore slip!

Thanks girls..yup, i don't feel like celebrating yet...maybe once i get a beta back it will feel "real"

I would say be pushy Big Smile since they have regular hours.  I would still give them another call and say in your message if you don't hear back then you will just stop by tomorrow first thing.  That way they know you are coming in and then you aren't really being pushy because you gave them notice.

  • In that case, I would totally just show up and tell them you couldn't get a hold of them.  They may need to figure out how to get the labs ordered, but I imagine if they're open on Sundays somebody can do that.
