Hi Ladies,
I am new to the posting, and just found out that we will be expecting our first baby on April 2nd. I am a little over 4 weeks along, and I was curious to see if any of you have experience with Capital Women's Care in Bel Air. I have been going to CWC for GYN check ups for the last 3 years and have been happy with them, but I was curious to see how they handled their OB patients.
I was concerned because when I called to schedule my first round of appointments, they made no mention of prenatal vitamins, and were quick to rush me off the phone. They scheduled my first sonogram at 7 weeks, which will be August 17th. I picked up an over the counter prenatal until I have my first appointment. Perhaps it was just a busy day? It just has me a bit nervous, and I was curious to see if anyone has used this practice. Thank you!
Re: Capital Women's Care- Bel Air
I go to CWC in Towson and I don't like them, at all. No one ever explains anything to me (appt schedule), prenatals STILL have never been discussed (I researched them on my own) , I do not like Dr. Facciola because she is very cold and I don't like that, they rush me through my appts and most of the time my questions are not answered. I know they are busy and that they deal with pregnant women every day but I am a first timer and this is all new to me.
For baby #2, I will either have a midwife (so I can actually get some attention) or go to a one doctor practice. I do not like not knowing who will show up at my son's delivery.
Not at all happy with my experience but at 26 weeks, it is too late now to start a new search.
Good Luck and I hope your experience is better.
