So, maybe its just me but I don't have a pager # for any dr...Is it normal to have that contact information from your dr? Did they offer it or did you ask? I guess I figured that if I was so worried about something it would be a trip to the ER instead of my own dr... Is this something I should've asked for??
Re: Pagers for Dr's--normal?
Have you ever called your Drs office after hours. If not, try sometimes and most likely the message will tell you what to do if you have an emergency.
My Dr has an emergency line.
Oh man I never thought about people who are having their babies at the beginning of next year. They will have to pay 2 deductibles and will have to start from 0 on their out of pocket max. I guess I'm lucky I get to do this whole pregnancy thing in the same year.
Most insurances will roll over deductible claims applied related to pregnancy. So if you have a 1000 deductible and meet 900 of it by Dec for maternity claims they'll roll the that so you only need to make up 100 before it's met.
