Ok, my SIL is looking for a MDO program in Fairfield CT, but doesn't know where to start. This is her second marriage so most of her friends have teenagers (as does she) but she has a 5-month-old who doesn't nap and needs some downtime. I was saying she should see if she could find a MDO that starts at like 6-months or something like that. Anyone know how she could start looking for one? We found ours through recommendations from friends, but she doesn't have any friends with babies. So how did you find a MDO program? Any ideas on how to start looking for one? Or an in-home daycare to trust that would take her DD part-time? She just needs some downtime and is thinking about going back to work part-time. (She works for herself but can't get anything done with her DD home.)
Re: MDO - Finding one? Fairfield CT
contact her local family resource center or family services center... there may be postings at the library, or even the elementary schools (or PTOs)
