bruising with Lupron shot...

is this normal?

I just gave myself my 4th shot of Lupron.  When I lifted my shirt to do it, there was a decent size black/purple bruise from yesterday's injection that I didn't know was there.  Apparently, I got dressed in the dark this a.m. :)

I'm not surprised seeing as how I'm sticking my body with a needle but wondering why it didn't happen the first couple of times.

    Totally normal...as your e2 increases, you start bruising on some of the shots

    I found that on the slower shots, I bruised more, but when I did a quicker motion, I bruised less.  Hope that helps.

    Yep.  Totally normal.

    I had one lupron shot that bruised (I think the third one) and some of the follistim shots bruised a little, but that one lupron shot bruise didn't fade for 2 weeks.  No idea why that one bruised...it didn't even bleed a speck afterward.  Totally normal tho...don't worry about it.
