i don't go to the guy anymore so i am getting rid of my membership. i do a lot of walking now that i moved to the city but i don't understand how to make time to workout?
yes, I do Stroller Fit 3x/week and I am going to start doing an 8 min workout video after DD goes to bed. that's all I have the energy for!
Mom to 2 beautiful girls, 3 yrs and 22 months old. My 2nd was born at 32 weeks due to Rhogam failure/severe complications from Rh disease and is our miracle. She has bilateral auditory neuropathy and a cochlear implant, activated 4/5/2012 at 19 months.
I do, but not consistently. I usually go walking/running or do pilates/"The 30 Day Shred" after DD goes to bed. DH stays with her while I work out and vice versa.
I used to go a lot more about 5,6, sometimes 7x a wk but now I really do not have time for that. I usually go 3 or 4x depending on how busy the wk is. I have always liked being active (I used to play sports) so its not really a prob for me. I just try and motivate myself anyway I can.

Unfortunately, I don't. DH and I renewed our gym memberships in February, but I've only gone 3 times since then. Between getting no sleep at night, working full time and then staying home on the weekends with S while DH works, I fear I'll never be able to go. Also, our gym child care room requires "reservations" the day before and the few times I've called to make them, they have been booked. But, they only allow you to call up to 24 hours in advance, so I can't call earlier in the week. It's like a catch 22.
DH and I do try to go on walks a few nights a week. But that's it.
DVDs are your friends. Comcast has "exercise TV" on demand. Make your walks count. I load up both kids in my Phil & Ted's and we take a three mile power walk. Between all the hills and me pushing 70 lbs. of child+stroller, I'm completely sweating by the time we get home.
I do. It's been a part of my routine for so many years that I don't feel like myself if I don't do it. I do best if I workout early in the day. Kiddo and I walk the dogs every morning and I usually run or elliptical after that at least 5 days a week.
It's also important to me to set a good example for kiddo in terms of having a healthy, active lifestyle.
I'm still working out, but not as consistently as I would like. My office has a very nice gym in it, so I'm able to go down during lunch and fit in a workout. If that wasn't an option, I don't think I would be working out at all.
I have it pretty easy. DD is in daycare and I work from home. My gym is right up the street so I try to go at lunch time and do 30 min on the elliptical a couple of times a week
Re: s/o...does anyone actually still workout?

I do. I try to go to the gym 4 times a week, but usually make it about 2 times. I go during my lunch hour at work.
On the weekends, I wear DS during his naps and will walk around my house with him attached to me for 1-2 hours. That's a workout.
