  check out www.meetup.com  that is where I found the mommy groups I belong to.  I live in the N.Plano/Frisco area and really enjoy "Hip Mama's" Group based in Allen.  We have meetup's all over the place though   It's been great to have a mom group .... ah adult conversation can do wonders!!

  for nursing groups, there is always LLL. each group really has it's own vibe and mood though, so it's hard to know if your local group is a fit without checking it out.

  i don't see a southlake group listed, but there are several others in the general area: https://www.llli.org//Web/Texas.html.

  Also, ask the hospital where you are delivering. I know Baylor Dallas has one.

  check out dfwareamoms.com - there are several moms in that area (me being one of them) - it's a message board for DFW moms and there are several subboards including a pregnancy and childbirth board and a breastfeeding support board - there are playgroups and GTGs pretty much weekly but you have to be a member for at least 30 days and have 100 posts before you can access the playdates - but it's not hard to meet that requirement!
