They are all too popular for my style, but my favorite is Ava! It was on my long list since it's so pretty! I like really feminine names, the other two seem less girlie to me.
I agree that Madison is obnoxious. I think Riley is too. I like Eva spelled like that--my temptation with "Ava" is to say it like ah-va, not ay-va. In any case, they're all super trendy, which is nms.
I like Ava the most. Even if it's trendy, I still like Madison. Depending on your state, only a few percent of people name their daughters that. Don't just look at ranking, look at percentage - that's how many people are using the name.
Sorry, but Riley always makes me think of a dogs name. I've known a couple of dogs with that name... it almost sounds like a whiney bark.
Ava. Even though it's popular now I think it is a classic name, whereas the others are more trendy.
Ditto. I've actually loved the name Ava since I was 9 or 10 but we won't be using it because of its popularity, unfortunately (although I guess we won't know for sure until we are actually naming a baby!). I still love it, though.

AVA- nice and girly
Madison= 'son of Maude", too popular
Riley- too unisex for me
Exactly...Ava has been around for many many years, it is just more popular now. The other 2 are trendy.
all way too popular for me.
Guess if I had to pick which I like though it would be Ava.
Ava is the only one of those three that is tolerable to me. Riley and Madison are way too trendy, and I think they'll sound dated in a couple years.

This. If I had to pick it would be Riley.
Ava is the best one, I think.
Madison is my second choice and Riley last.

Ava. It is popular, but it's very pretty.
Riley is my friend's pooch's name, so it's hard for me not to think of that.
And Madison is just plain overdone.
