Learning how to "shoot up" today

Our med consultation is today. I am really nervous about giving myself shots, but I know it is all worth it. Hopefully we will find out if I am a CF carrier too. After finding out Tuesday that it looks like DH has CBAVD due to CF, we are praying that I am not a carrier at all! We are also doing a third SA to hopefully confirm some discrepancies from SA# 2 (ie we think we got results from the wrong semen!)

Please wish us luck, and tell me the shots aren't that bad LOL!

DH: dx azoo 8/3/09 found out DH has CBAVD due to Cystic Fibrosis on 8/18/09
IVF#1 w/ICSI: start stims 9/4/09, ER/MESA 9/15/09, ET 9/20/09 Transferred 2 GREAT Blasts!

Baby Boy was born on 5/14/10 at 36w 3d
(induced due to IUGR, 4 lbs 15 oz but perfectly developed and healthy)

FET#1: start Lupron 9/25/11, FET 10/20/11
Transferred two 6 day hatching Blasts!
Beta #1 on 11/3/11 BFN

FET#2: start Lupron 11/20/11, FET 12/15/11

    Good luck with the testing.. I can't advise on the injections as I haven't gotten to those yet, however the ladies here seem to have no real problems. I'm sure they will be able to offer tricks for making it easier.

    My husband is a CF carrier due to CBAVD, I am not a carrier.  We are in the midst of IVF/ICSI #1.  He had sperm extraction surgery today.  Please feel free to message me if you have any questions :)  Take care.
