Baby clothes--need advice please

I'm popping in from 3rd tri--I'm thinking about buying a few summer clothes while they're on clearance for next summer.  I'm due in October, so I was thinking about getting size 6-9 months?    Or should I go larger?

(We get summer weather from end of May-September, so the little one will be 7-11 months).

    It's so hard to tell. I won't even buy DD clothes for next summer because I have no idea what size she'll be in.

    i would get a few that size and a few larger. i also got her a few things for next summer and got them mostly 18-24 months and some 12-18.

    Larger. DS is starting to wear 6 month outfits if they have feet (he has long legs apparently), so he'll be in all 6 month clothes probably around 4 1/2 months.

    I'd maybe go 1 and 2 sizes larger. You can always put a little sweater over it if it's too cold when he/she wears them.

    This.  DS is in 6-9 month now and he is almost 5 months and has been in this size since he was just over 3 months old. He is getting close to moving to a size up.

    Wow, those are all big babies!  My LO is 4 1/2 months and is wearing 0-3 months and some newborn!  You never can tell...

    I agree with PP you never can tell. My DD is in 0-3 months right now but she was in newborn until 7wks. There are still some 0-3 that she is just now wearing. But I bought some 12 & 18 month sizes in summer clothes for next year.
