Hey - I saw your post below and i just wanted to tell you a few things i had issues with when TTC. I'm 36 and when i wasn't getting pg my Ob tested my FSH where was 3.4 i thought wow that's great and so did they but, what was going on that i didn't know about till i went to see the Re was that My E2 ( estogen levels where elevated on Cd 2 and 3 which basically meant my ovarian reserve was starting to diminish. It was making me o to early and screwing my body up. It took a few months for Re to figure that out and another MC. My linning was thinning out and basically the Re told me that he wanted to try one more thing but, if that didn't work i needed to do IVF or give up. I was devastated since IVF was out for us. They started me on follistim injectiables aggresivley that month 110 Iu a day. With Follistim the Re explained it was like taking 5 months of ttc and putting it in one. You will produce mutiply follicles with them more than clomid but, it also balance out your hormones which we found out later was my issue and will thicken your linning which helped me big time. I was out he point i was going to ak to go on the pill for a few weeks and see if that strightened me out since on Cd 5 I already had follicle that was 21. It was crazy... The Re told me to hold off and asked if i would just try something this month. They started to test my blood every day for the fist 10 days and after a few day they noticed my E2 was elevated at the begining of my cycle but, than would start to decline so he started the injectiables up again and within a week i was starting to have normal numbers and the big follicles disapeared. I ovulated the latest i evert did on cd 12 and the saturday before i ovuated i had 7 mature follicles and my blood work was finally normal for once. They were so excited they really thought it was going to work. Me i wasn't so sure negative person i was afetr 18 months of ttc this. I did the ovidrel injection late that night and we had TI Sunday and Monday. He put on something called Endometrium which was a progestrone supp but, woked much better and he told me it would help with implantation. I went in on Cd 7 the day after easter to have my progestrone levels checked and they where over 20 by than i just knew i was pg and a few days later a pg test proved it.

Wow, thank you so much for sharing your story with me!! It seems like a lot of people have suggested that I ask about injectibles before moving to IVF. It's good to know there are options because I was starting to get my finances together thinking that it was probably inevitable that IVF is the only way I will have a baby.

AND, I can't believe you are 21 weeks!! That is so awesome!!! I am so happy for all of our graduates. I can't wait to get over there. It's sad that so many people are already on PAL and I'm still not KU. It's hard but I know it will happen. I just know it.

My Dh was so aggainst TTC anything was unnatural but, he was totally into the injectiables and i had none of the side effects that i did with clomid. I know how dishearting it is to go through this and feel like it's never going to happen but, i know it will for you. Talk to you dr and try the injectiables at least once before the IVF you may be suprised. If you Out of Pocket i know that there is check in over on trouble TTC that girls give away there med that they can't use and they also know some places to get it cheaper. Good luck I'm so praying for you!!

I can't beleive it either feel so unreal still after all those months of tears and ttc. We all can't wait for you to be over with us. I know I'm always over here to check onmy friends even if i don't post i'm watching nd praying for you guys!! I know it will happen and when it does you will so appreaicte every little thing i know i do.

I will definitely ask my RE about that. I think that is great advice!

And I'm glad to know that you guys still check in on us over here! Sometimes it's hard not to feel left behind.
