Babies: 0 - 3 Months

well, poop.

I go back to work on Monday after what turned out to be a 10-week maternity leave. Ugh. I don't want to think about leaving my baby, let alone having to get up at 5 am to get to work on time. Ugh again.

Anyone else going back soon?

  • Ugg, I'm sorry that sucks especially the 5am wake-up. I don't have to go back to work, but I am going back to school full-time in a few weeks to finish my masters degree, plus I have a required fieldwork this year so it's a lot of time away from my babies.

  • I have one week left, but I teach via computer, so I'm lucky in that I don't have to leave my baby.  After working from home for the past year, I can't imagine having to leave the house to go back to work!  I can barely leave to go to the grocery store!
  • I'm going back 8/31 and am struggling!  I was made to ba a SATM... but the budget dictates differently. :-(
  • I went bak at 6 weeks. It was actually kind of nice to get back into a routine. I LOVE my mornings with DD and DH.

Yeah, I won't lie and say I'm not looking forward to having a routine. My daughter has no schedule whatsoever and for someone like me, that's been difficult.

I'm sure after the first week or so I'll be totally fine - don't you find the anticipation (or dread) is always the hardest part?

  • Next week is my last week on leave. 6am wake time, here. DS is still on a crap shoot of a schedule/routine and I just don't know how I'm going to make sure I get out the house on time every day. I couldn't even do it when it was just me.
