DD suddenly hates daycare.,it is breaking my heart.

I am a teacher and at the end of last schoo year Dd had trouble seperating in the morning.  She was home with more most of the summer (day care stopped doing part time)  So we started easing ehr back into daycare a few days a week increasing amounts of time. Her seperation anxiety has gottten worse and not better.  It is breakign my heart. The daycare and staff are being super kind and helpful but we are all at a lose. We tried moving her up inot an older class yeseterday and that seemed to go better, this morning was hard but a little better.  I am home today and watchign her ont he daycare cameras.  She seems..ok stopped crying but it not really playing or seems happy. WWYD? Ia m heartbroken to leave her sop upset, she used to like school. Is it s stage? (she is almost 2 1/2) Sorry to vetn my heart is just breaikng and i am at a lose.

    I think once she gets back into the groove and used to the new room, she'll be fine.

    It takes about a month.  DD was transitioned to another school around 2 and we were a mess for awhile.  She's now bouncing off walls, making new friends... a totally different child.  Just hang in there.

    My DD does the crying scene every single time I drop her off at daycare.  Somedays, I get it at pickup, too, b/c she doesn't want to leave.  It might be the age, but I definitely have the same experience.
