Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Anyone else's LO not crazy about the bath?

He used to have a little more fun, splashing with his legs and arms, but now he just kind of sits there.  I try to engage him with some toys but all he really wants to do is play with the drain lever, then he points to the faucet to say, "I'm done, rinse please!"

Any fun bath toys out there???

  • DD has a seahorse bath toy (I think by Munchkin?) that makes noises and she has a fishing net toy with three plastic fishies that she LOVES.

  • DD wont even sit in the tub anymore.  She used to love it, play w/her toys, splash around. Now she just stands there, she'll pull the drain plug up and carry it around the tub, when I try to rinse her she acts like she's drowning and tries to climb out... I'm just as soaked as she is by the end. lol

  • plastic cups are a huge hit.  He also has a fishing net and fish that he has fun with.  Bath books are good too.

  • Your little one says something as complex as "I'm done, rinse please"? My LO just turned 13 months yesterday and doesn't say anything.  :-(
  • Logan's pretty easy to entertain in the bath but he does LOVE his new bath crayons.  The funny part is the rest of the house does, too.  You never know what you'll find when going to take a shower.  Yesterday it read "I pee here everyday.  How do you feel about that?"  With an arrow pointed near the drain.  I love my husband.

No!  He barely says mama and dada!  I just meant that he points and nods when I ask him if he wants to be finished.  I guess I shouldn't use quotation marks huh?  ;)

Whew!  I was starting to think that DD was far behind the others. LOL

  • One DS loves it one hates it. :( I have no tips other than toys and maybe a spout cover?
