So what consitutes walking exactly??

Help me settle a dispute.  My BFF called yesterday and we had a long talk.  Then she said "OMG I can't believe you didn't tell me Ethan was walking!!"  I was like...well, he's not really yet.  I mean, he will take 7 or 8 steps going back and forth btwn DH and I, but he doesn't walk on his own at all - only between us.  He's been doing this back and forth thing for about 1.5 months.

So...is this walking?? I don't know....
