What do you think of the name Cora?

I like uncommon names and that is part of the draw, just wondering what others think. Do you think it's feminine? Would you ever call her "Cori/Cory" as a nickname? (I don't like that nn at all)

i love cora. it doesn't work with our last name though so it's off my list! i also don't see why cora needs a nn. it is short to begin with. that said i am never sure why some people feel like all names need a nn.

It's okay. I wouldn't call her Cori. Have you thought about Cara? I think that may sound a little more feminine, and is not a common name.

I think it's very pretty! It is a short name, so I don't think a nn would be needed or used.

I think that Cora is a very pretty name. It is different without being an "out there" name! I also do not think that it will have or need a nn. It is a short name. My name is Tara and the only thing that I was ever called was T and that was by my brother.
