Okay, I know that this sounds really dumb, but I want to be sure that I'm not missing something. I wanted to bake some apples for dd to eat as finger food (I'm assuming that baking is the best, to make them soft???)
Um...how do I bake them? Temp? Peeled? Length?
I'm sure it's as simple as putting them in a dish and sticking them in the oven, but any tips anyone can offer would be great. I did google, but all I could find were recipes, and I just want to bake apples.
TIA
Re: Clueless cook here...how to bake apples?
I would peel and core, then cut into quarters. Put them in a dish with a tad bit of water at the bottom. Bake at 400 for an hour. Check them periodically to make sure they are not too soft.
