Not eating at daycare

Mc is refusing to eat at daycare.  (Mostly because she spends the entire day crying hysterically).  She won't take a bottle , she won't take a sippy cup, she won't eat purees or cereal, she won't even eat finger foods.  So my questions are:

 1.  What is the minimum amount in a day that she should be consuming bottle and finger foods or purees?

2.  How many wet diapers a day are we looking for?

Re: Not eating at daycare

  • 6-8 wets a day. Minimum of I believe 21oz of formula/bm. She could be reverse cycling.

  • I was told 16 ounces a day plus a multivitamin will meet all her nutritional needs when we were having issues with her eating.

My dd started daycare this week. it is a rough adjustment for them and us. I hope your LO adjusts soon

  • I know you are most immediately concerned about intake and output, but my sister's boys adjusted after 1 week.  Meaning, they started to eat.  hang in there.

It's been two weeks now... she screams for hours, won't eat, won't drink.  Today was the first day that she actually stopped screaming.  It was the last 30 minutes before I arrived.  I have an ounce of hope now.  But I am worried about the intake and output.
