Poor Ethan! First major booboo!

My MIL called. E fell into her coffee table and cut below his eye. : /

I HATE that I wasn't there. He apparently has a black and blue mark and it bled a fair amount.

I handled myself well, I didn't freak out and I even said, accidents happen.

But I am still upset.

Poor baby! It does suck that it was at your MILs, but I'm sure she handled it well. You would have handled it better. But he'll get extra kisses and hugs when he gets home!

poor thing!!

..i know the feeling..ronnie smashed his toenail one day when i wasn't here and MIL was watching them. but she barely noticed it happened..i called and asked how they were, and she said "well, ronnie hurt his foot, but he's fine..he just cried for a minute" when i came home, she left, and then i noticed his toe was BLACK, and he was still whiny when i touched it

i deduced he dropped a can of formula on it, which she later confirmed..the thing that gets me so much is that i know she was probably playing with joey and not paying attention to ronnie and i hadn't been there to at least comfort him poor little thing

You know I'm laughing... only because I told you Charlie did the SAME thing yesterday- except his cut is in his eyelid. It will heal and Charlie's scars he has are COOL!!!!!!!! :-) It's nice your mil called you.

And last night I told you I would freak out! But I was calm! It looks icky, though... and it is on right eyelid,not under his eye! lol

He and Charlie are gonna get all the girls!

I'm sorry. I always thought I could watch Eli so nothing happened, but is happens so quickly! E did that at my parents house and my Mom was really upset. He didn't even seem to notice. Just remember it could be worse! My nephew broke his femur and ended up in a body cast all of last summer at my MIL's house.
