headaches

I have a headache every day, all day long.  Ugh.  Saw my Peri today and just as I figured, this is normal.

If you had frequent headaches, when did they stop?  I'll be 13 weeks this weekend.  I am ready for the all-day sickness and headaches to ease up a bit!

    Hmmm...ya know, I was going to say never but then I realized they were at their worst in the first and early second tri. Of course now that I've said that I'll end up with a week of headaches. LOL!

    I didn't drink Coke in the first tri but once I reached the second tri I would drink a Coke (with caffeine, the caffeine is key!!) if I felt a headache coming on. Tylenol did zip for me, Coke was the only thing that helped.

    Oh ick!  Sorry you're going through this hon!  I had the same thing happen to me, but my sickness ended at 9 weeks and then the headaches kicked it.  I just took tylenol and it helped a little bit, but it went on for a couple of weeks.  If it had gotten any worse my OB was going to prescribe me tylenol with codeine, but eventually they went away.

    Thanks, guys!

    I just caved and took some Tylenol and it's helping, luckily.  Mmm... Coke sounds good.  I confess to getting an occasional Coke Slurpee.  Embarrassed

    I feel your pain.  I've had the worst headaches.  Nothing worked except laying down in a quiet, dark room.

    I had a headache virtually every day for about 3.5 months, so I know where you're at!  Mine have ended in the last couple of weeks.  My dr. prescribed Fioricet, but it was a little too scary for me to take all the time, so I managed the pain with Tylenol and caffeine - either coffee or coke.  A nap helps too, but you can't always do that in the middle of a work day!  Feel better soon!

    I feel your pain... literally.  Unfortunately, I am still getting pretty bad headaches 3-4 times a week.  I drink plenty of water and I stay active.  Caffeine doesn't seem to help.  Usually a nap is my cure-all! :)
