Hi. ?I am new to this board. ?We are looking for a good insurance plan for our baby to be. ?We could add her to my employer's plan, but the cost is ridiculous. ?Anyone had any luck with affordable premiums through a private company?

    Have you tried going to an agent? Where do you live? I maybe able to refer you to an agent since I am a licensed agent.

    Well i work for an insurance agency in Bradenton so I am sure you do not want to drive down here. If you go to www.bcbsfl.com you can apply for coverage for your child right on thier website. The plans for children are pretty reasonable. Most large carriers have this options. Some other carriers you can check out are United Healthcare, AETNA, CIGNA and Humana. Between all of them you should find something for your child. HTH!

    My fiance does custom plans for individuals and families. There are a ton of options that can fit your family needs. He comes to your house and goes over everything with you and your family to find the most afforable plan that fits your budget.  If you want his info I can get it to you....
