co-irker's coffee drinking

My co-irker is drinking a hot cup of coffee.  How do I know it is hot?  Because he is slurping it.  The sound is driving me nuts.  He drinks at least one cup a day and when he does it makes me want to poke my eyes out, well actually it makes me want to poke his eyes out.  I feel my hand tense around my mouse everytime he takes a sip!  Grrr..

    I used to have a co-irker like that, but my co-irker moved locations (yay!).

    Ask him if the coffee's good.  When he says yes, say "oh that's nice, because it sure SOUNDS good."  Hopefully he'll get the drift...

    That stinks. My 'neighbor' listened to 45 minutes of static-y talk radio before saying "That is so annoying. I can't stand it!" and turning it off.

    Also, the title of your post made me remember that I have french vanilla hot chocolate packets in my purse...

    I know how you feel! Slurping is one of my biggest pet peeves! I CANNOT stand it! If I were you I would ask him to stop! Or better yet, I would tell him to stop!

     Great response!  Unfortunately, we just kind of co-exist in our office and I don't think he would take that very well and then I am sure things would get worse.  But I really wish I could say it!!!

     The slurping has stopped, but maybe I can use this tomorrow morning, as I am sure we will have a repeat performance!

    I can relate.  I used to have a supervisor that would eat chips and him crunching the chips would drive me nuts.
