is maple syrup okay?

I just bought some mini pancakes for breakfast for Devan and was just wondering if syrup is okay or not.  I'm sure she will eat them without it but was just curious if anything.

    Yes, it is fine.

    It's fine-  but lots of sugar- I use just butter OR pureed apricots or applesauce- that was a hit- DS liked it on mini bagels too- someone on here mentioned that (I can't take credit)

    I thought the same thing about the sugar... I will definately try the applesauce/fruit and see how that goes. thx
