Adoption "Sister" ????
When I was TTC, I visited the TTTC board A LOT!!! Someone on there took the time to get all of our information ( the ones that wanted to participate) and "pair" us up with another "sister" who was either in the same situation as us or had been in that situation. My "sister" & I got to know each other by email and now email everyday! Even though we have never met and she lives in Kentucky(I'm in Georgia), she is one of my dearest friends!!! She's gone on to have twins and I enjoy hearing about them growing up ( they will be 1 soon!) & she listens to my adoption journey ( that's just beginning!). I don't know if anyone on this board would be interested but I thought I would throw it out there. If anyone is interested, I'll be glad to set it all up ( although there might be someone on here that might be better at it or would like to do it and that's fine too!).

Her name is NicB, and something tells me she still checks in on us now and then
I think the difference between this and secret nesties is that the matches aren't secret in the "sister" arrangement. We did this on the preemie board as well. Some of the moms with older preemies were matched with newbies to help them through the journey. I think this is the same concept , and it is a great idea. I would love to participate.
i love crystal's idea. i know the person i was paired with as a secret nestie rarely, if ever, posted so i never knew what was going on with her, or really who she was. i love sharing my experience (if you can't tell!) so this would be fun to do.

I'd not mind at all! Maybe you and I might be a good match, since I'm in an odd situation (we're getting our ducks in a row for IUI, while trying to save up the $$$ for adoption - the way the program we want works, we'd get a quick match, and it's best to go in being in a position to pay 20k in pretty short order) myself.
i am into it as well.
But.. i'm hoping everyone that enters to be matched will really get into it. My match for a secret nestie fizzled because she rarely posts, i wish i could have learned more about her.

I edited my sign up post and added a note to possibly help with people signing up and then not following thru. I'm sure there will still be a few who do this, & if so, we can re-match people if you would like.
