Black eyed peas, britney, lady gaga, MJ. whatever they play on 99.7 I buy and load up on my ipod. I have this stupid rule that if a song is on my workout list/ipod and I hear it on the radio, I try and change the station so I don't get tired of it on my ipod.
OK, this isn't upbeat in context but I love the beat and can't get it out of my head: It's a new Kanye West song, some chick is singing about how love can knock you down...I just heard it this morning and I puffy heart it.
Anyhow. I just download a few songs to my Ipod the other day to update my running list - they're mostly old since I don't know many new songs
Footloose by Kenny Loggins
American Girl by Tom Petty
Like A Prayer, Madonna
Fighter, Christina Aquilera (sp?)
Say Hey by Michael something or other, it's new
-My Ipod is SUPER cheesy because it's all running songs. Like I'd be embarrassed if someone found it.
im super getto, i listen to rap music and picture my self as some video hoochie to get my workout on. One of my favs is I like the way you move by Outkast.

Re: High enery song list - I need recommendations
"Just Dance" by Lady GaGa
"One More Time" by Daft Punk
"Faster Kill Pussycat" by Paul Oakenfold feat. Brittany Murphy
I'll try to think of more.

Old Michael Jackson, thriller and off the wall have great songs
Gwen Stefani's first album has lots of fast songs and any No Doubt album.
Say Hey: Michael Franti:

There is a distinct possibility you have stolen my ipod and I just don't know it. I was going to suggest all three of those songs!
Also going to suggest: You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) by Dead or Alive...the original one, not the newer (sh*tty) verision about oral sex.
I'm not sure if these qualify as "dancy", but I use them for running. (Back when I was running, that is...)
Stronger by Kanye West
Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous by Good Charlotte
Take me Out by Franz Ferdinand
Battleflag by Lo Fidelity Allstars
Holiday by Green Day
SOS by Rihanna
The Way I Are by Timbaland
Two Step by Dave Matthews Band
