O pains since last night. Anyone else get O pains before AF? I think this may have happened to me once or twice before. Perhaps I'm a double releaser. There have been fraternal twins in my family.

I felt O pains yesterday even though I O'd last week. It happens to me sometimes and I just assume they are not O pains at all.

I doubt it is O pains since you have a very clear thermal shift, but cramping can be a sign of pregnancy and of AF. Hang in there.

I didn't know double releasers would relase so far apart...I thought it was a day apart or so...not 11.

I confess I know nothing about it. I really don't think it's an infection because it's just a twinge. I think the yellow is most likely the vitamins...or a precursor to AF spotting.

This is what I was thinking to. I really hope its a pregnancy sign for you but it could be AF too.

I'm trying too. I am going crazy. This is why I haven't charted post O in a while and won't again if AF shows. Damn pretty charts!!!

Superfecundation (fertilization of two separate eggs in the same cycle) is possible, but happens during a single ovulation window, usually no more than 24-36 hours.

Superfetation (fertilization of a second egg after already pregnant) is extremely rare, and is known to cause Irish Twins.

Really??? I always thought Irish twins was when pregnancy occurs within a couple of months after birth. How do they safely deliver in this case if there is another fetus in there?

That was supposed to be a joke. Surely you didn't miss out on the Irish Twins post on the tri boards a few months back??

There are only a handful of superfetation cases documented, and my understanding is that the second conception usually occurs three to four weeks in, so the fetuses are close enough developmentally to deliver together.
