Babies on the Brain

can someone tell me why she cries...in her sleep?

every night?- do babies have nightmares? about what- the running pacifer?

it makes me so sad and helpless to see her cry, even if it for a brief moment.

  • Gavin does too. NOw if he cries out like he's getting worked up I wait a second - because usually it's just a quick holler and he never actually wakes.
  • what do you think they cry about?

I usually go in and make sure the pacificer is around, then get out. She never really awakens, but I just get curious...

  • Allie did it too.  I always thought it was them realizing they were alone. I could be way off though.

  • I have no idea.  He's not awake at all - and when he does wake up he doesn't cry outright usually, he fusses first. No clue what makes them do that.
  • Henry does this, too.  He cries once or twice a night for like 30 seconds.  I don't go in unless he cries longer but that almost never happens.  Don't know if he is cold or had a bad dream or what, but it does make me sad.
  • DD cries when she can't keep her thumb in her mouth, even when she's asleep.  Sometimes, I wish she would just take the paci!

  • Ryder sometimes cries in his sleep.  I keep thinking that he woke up, but when I check on him he's sound asleep!
