DD's not too good with finger foods, and will only try a few bites of our food. So she mostly eats yogurt, and jarred baby food (although she won't eat the meat ones).
This is yet another reason why I'm hesitant to take her off formula. I just don't know how much nutrition is in jarred bananas! Anyone else dealing with this? Tips?
Re: Does your baby still eat baby food?
See, and you have a little peanut like I do. Its harder when they're small to know that they're eating right and getting enough. GL to you!
I did give her the 2nd Step formula for a while after she went to whole milk. It just made me feel better knowing she was getting some additional calories, vitamins, etc. But she's actually gained on the weight scale (in terms of her percentage of normal), so I don't worry too much anymore. I think there is a transition about now when they just don't need to eat as much as they did as babies. It's a challenging adjustment for us moms. You just gotta trust your instincts. A lot of people have suggested smoothies as a good alternative (and you can add spinach to them), but Lily won't eat those either.
We still give DS baby food. he will not eat any type of meat unless it is jarred. It also depends on what we are having to eat to. Tonight he had jarred meat/veggies but than he had a fruit cup for his fruit.
