Has anyone had success TTC after 9-10 months without meds? I'm starting to feel like if I've been trying this long w/no success, I should probably see a doctor. I've only charted the past 3 months but we've been at it nearly daily during the middle two weeks of my cycle all 10!

That's actually not how it works. At all.
Really? Is that how it works? Here I thought not ovulating was my problem, good thing to know it was just b/c I was worrying too much.
TTC #1 since 2007. Dx: Unexplained infertility. 4 IUIs in 2008 = BFN. IVF #1 07/09. DD #1 born April 2010 (40w5d).
TTC #2 since 2011. Dx: Endometriosis and hypothyroidism. 2 FETs in 2012, BFP 6/12 but m/c @ 7 weeks. IVF #2 06/13. DD #2 born March 2014 (40w1d).
Making as much sense here as you did on GP I see.
All those IF girls should simply stop worrying? Damn! Someone better tell them asap.
seriously, this would have saved me $12 grand in cost to do IUI and IVF. Silly me.
On a side note to the original post, REs will see you if you are under 35 typically after 1 year, and over 35 after 6 months. I say this "typically" because if you have something preiexisting about your reproduction system that you know about (which I assume you don't have that) you may be sent there sooner. If you don't conceive by 12 months, it can't hurt to talk to your OB - at least then you have information on which path you would like to take, continue on the natural path or move towards tests and treatments.
It took us 14 cycles, but 12 months. Not worrying had absolutely nothing to do with it. For us, the issue was timing. For others who have very real infertility issues, not worrying is not going to cut it.
That being said, up to a year is normal. Don't worry that it hasn't happened yet unless you have some evidence, like abnormally long cycles or anovulatory charts, that show there's an issue.
