Daycare recommendations in S.Boston/Back Bay/S. End?

Anyone have Daycare recommendations?  I live in South Boston and drive into Govt. Center.  Any neighborhood along the way will work . . . must be able to acommodate a longer work day (8a-6p minimum).

The Bright Horizons across the street from my office just raised their rate to $2,500+ a month for infant care.  So I need to find a more affordable option.  Not due until April 2010, but want to get us on some waiting lists so we have choices when the time comes.

    I just want to wish you good luck.  I was going to go with Bright Horizons in the Seaport at $2300 per month.  Fortunately a spot opened at the day care center in the school where I work, so I'm paying $900 per month instead.  I did not have any luck finding cheaper options in the S.Boston/Dorchester area that I was comfortable with.
