That a lot of the posts on the AP board tend to be about or turn into sleep issues.

    I don't go over there, but that doesn't surprise me. The whole AP system seems to be asking for sleep issues, imo.

    What exactly is Attachment Parenting? I was in there the other day just lurking.. is it all about carrying your baby all the time, cause i read alot about slings and carriers and stuff? I am just wondering?

    I am all for whatever works for your family....but I have to think that co-sleeping may set you up for sleeping problems.

    Not totally true.  A lot of people have come over to ask questions about sleep and how AP feels about sleep training. And to be fair there are a lot of sleep questions here and on 0-6 & 6-12 as well.  It's a big part of parenting.  Most AP (not all) parents just approach sleep differently then more 'main stream' parents.

    There are a lot of topics over there right now.  Babywearing, lovies, discipline...a lot of what gets talked about here too.  It's just that the parents who tend to parent with an AP style have a lot in common and it's nice to have a place to talk about it.
