The other day I was dying for a piece of beef. Ironically, I?m not really a diehard beef eater. I went off to Costco anticipating how great a piece of steak would taste once I dropped it on the grill later that evening. Ladies, I was a happy camper walking up and down the aisles since I had time to spare and was doing fabulous. Low and behold I came upon the meat section and got a sudden wave, like tsunami of nausea.
Every time I lifted a package of beef an alarm went off. After several attempts it hit me like a ton of bricks. I can?t handle the appearance of raw meat. I had to mad rush my cart out of the meat section to prevent myself from experiencing my first documented case of puking my head off. Sadly, I went back home and had a Vegan dinner.
Has anyone experienced an issue in the grocery store?

I am way early and have had very little reactions to anything, except once to meat. I was making some bbq (pulled pork to anyone out of state) and pulled the hunk of meat out of the crockpot. I could have sworn to you it was rancid and ran out of the room gagging. My husband smelled it and said nothing was wrong, but it smelled completely off to me.
I now have a huge container of bbq in my fridge and I haven't touched it once.
Good Morning,
Oh YES have I have this problem, for me it started at around week 5ish I was having chicken breast on the BBQ ate maybe 2 bites and couldn't eat it anymore.
Then the thought, site, smell of any type of meat makes me so sick, especially raw meat.
I wrote on a PP that I totally avoid any meat departments especially Wal-Marts.
I can be m/s free and someone talks about meat and it makes me sick... I am a carnivore well was before I got preggers anyway lol
Going to any food store is pretty dicey lately (read: past 2 months). Not to mention I never know what I'll want or can stomach for a particular meal.
It sucks.
I don't mind seeing the meat, but I definitely cannot stand the meat/seafood section. It doesn't induce nausea for me but the smell is really, really strong!
Wow Ladies... thanks for the insight... I feel so much better... LOL
@bb80 I loved the vegan dinner... but my thoughts were still on a juicy 'cooked' steak.
